Creating Camp Shedd
Every day at Shedd, our visitors see animals in their habitats. We thought it would be fun to extend that experience by creating a habitat in which our young visitors can play, let their imaginations run wild, and get close to our region’s native animals. The result was Camp Shedd.
Designed in component parts that can be rearranged, Camp Shedd creates a naturalistic setting for Great Lakes presentations by our floor programming staff, but better yet, it’s a great place to play and learn.
Camp Shedd debuts Sept. 5.
